Friedens Women
Another “ladies” organization of Friedens is the UCC Women. This organization was started for the ladies that work and are unable to attend the regular afternoon meetings of the Women’s Fellowship.
This group also meets monthly (every first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 pm) and has a variety of projects in which they participate. Prepares “goodie” bags for the shut-ins at Easter, sends cards to the shut ins, prepares shoeboxes for the Samaritans’ Purse project, prepares and sell church birthday calendars, and sponsors one or two take out dinners. Proceeds from the take out dinners and the calendars are used to help the youth of our church by paying for part of their slumber falls camp fees.

Friedens Women’s Events
On June 7, 2021 the Women’s UCC Group toured the New Washington Volunteer Fire Department building and new helicopter pad. Thanks to CC and Kitty Miller for an excellent tour. God Bless our Fire Department Volunteers.
